達爾文（Charles Darwin ，1809年 2月12號—1882年 4月19號）是英國的自然學家。他的成就，以「進化論」最出名。他提出世界各隻物種都來自「物競天擇，適者生存」這道理。進化論已經係現代生物學中嗰基礎。

達爾文的重要著作為《物種起源》（On the Origin of Species），全名為《物競天擇，適者生存嗰物種起源論》（On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life）。
